Pictures of the Year International
Pictures of the Year International is pleased to invite you to enter their 64th annual photojournalism competition - the world's oldest and one of the world's most prestigious.
An advance look at the contest categories and guidelines is now available online at www.poyi.org. POYi encourages contestants to review the numerous improvements and changes in this year's competition.
Pictures of the Year International continues to offer new categories, such as an expanded multimedia division, plus Human Conflict and Photographer's Column. Also this will be the second year for accepting entries through an efficient online process.
Online registration is now open. The deadline for entries to be submitted online is Friday, January 19. Please review the contest categories and guidelines at our Web site, www.poyi.org.
In late December the web site will be updated with detailed instructions on how to prepare and upload entries. Also online you'll also see several years' worth of recent winners, a mere portion of the 63-year-old archive.
